OUR EXPERIENCED TEAM

DRIVING CHANGE WITH REDISCOVERED WOOD

OUR MISSION

We are committed to providing superior hard-to-source old growth timber to enhance peoples’ lives - allowing them to grow and succeed in partnership with the planet.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to become the world’s
foremost underwater logging company.

OUR COMMITMENT

Our commitment to a sustainable future: At Timberwise, we are part of the solution, taking actions now to co-create a brighter and sustainble future for our planet and the future of mankind.

Timberwise Group is an underwater logging operations and management company based in Langley, British Columbia. Timberwise has developed technology that allows precious hardwoods to be retrieved efficiently and safely from lakes and resevoirs minimizing impact on the environment.

As the global supply for quality timber steadily decreases, the demand for a sustainable source of wood is rapidly increasing. Timberwise is addressing this demand by tapping into harvesting previously untouched, well preserved timber reserves that currently exist underwater.

There are currently millions of hectares of underwater forests which were flooded during the building of hydroelectric dams, resulting in over 66,000 potential operations sites worldwide. Timberwise is set to take advantage of this $120+ billion global market.

Underwater logging can be extremely profitable, since the prime “targets” are decades-old trees of a size and species difficult or impossible to find in their natural land habitat.

Our vision is to become the world’s
foremost underwater logging company.  Be part of our vision

Lonnie Hayward

CEO and Founder

,

Lonnie Hayward has worked in the Forestry, Mining, Oil and Gas, and Finance sectors over the past thirty plus years. In 1989 he worked with “Fletcher Challenge Canada” in the milling of land-based timber.

In 1994 he moved into the field of finance with “Allied Credit Canada” and “Network International Credit”. His clients included “Agricultural Bank of China”, “Royal Bank of Canada”, and “Mitsubishi Canada ” to name a few. In 1998 as a consultant for a Canadian mining company, he managed all aspects of the company’s business, including environmental site cleanup, public disclosure and compliance. Once the contract was completed, he sat on the boards of various public companies in both the Canada and the US.

In 2002 he consulted with “Titan Oil and Gas, Inc.”, an exploration and operations company based in Houston, Texas. He helped Titan acquire its first properties and expand its holding and production throughout the state of Texas.

In 2005 He expanded his oil and gas interests into Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan. While working in the Forestry, Mining, and Energy Sectors, Mr. Hayward noticed the huge environmental impact from each industry and the lack of interest shown in improving processes, requirements and standards for the future benefit of the planet. He began to look at environmentally friendly businesses that he felt – had real potential for positive change.

He purchased the patent rights for a Heavy-Duty Underwater Logging Technology, now known as the Titan ARM (Articulating Robotic Manipulator) technology. A team of engineers were hired to design and rescale the original 60 ft. prototype to a larger faster and more reliable design which has become the “TITAN ARM-120” foot model of today.

Lonnie developed and designed a plan that would see the technology being used on underwater concessions throughout the world. Lonnie built many long-term relationships with many companies and countries around the world and found the interest in underwater logging overwhelming.

In 2017, Lonnie assembled a group of land based and underwater lumber harvesting, milling and kiln drying, sale and distribution, and environmental experts. The first person he teamed up with was long-time friend Sheldon Romain who is now President and COO.
